Derivatives

It is very mathematical but definetly very interesting because of the deepdives. I don't think anyone should have a master's in finance and not understand derivatives properly and here you can really learn how to price anything with a strong theory base but also practical projects to put the knowledge into practical cases. The exam is a bit hard but the rest of course can balance your grade. One shouldn't focus solely on their GPA but rather actually learning and more people should take this course. The overall classroom vibe was one of the best in the whole semester for me which a good plus.

Good course if you are interested in derivatives but workload is pretty high and course content is not easy. Not recommended if you’re not interested in the topic.

Very hard subject, it is very interesting and the professor is excellent, the group work is well graded if you have a group. The exam is very difficult and the average overall grade is 14 points. For mathematicians, the subject is very doable, but for the general public it is not a subject to raise your average.
